Tap Global Group plans ‘next logical step’ with AIM listing

Tap Global Group PLC (AQSE:TAP) has taken “the logical next step” with its shares now set to join the London Stock Exchange’s AIM market, as it seeks to access to a wider investor base.

The small-cap fintech company, which, with a digital hub, brings together money and crypto services in a single app, told investors it won’t be raising new capital as it moves onto AIM.

It comes as Tap Global expects to report record revenues and its first full year of positive earnings (EBITDA) for the twelve months ending 30 June.

"We have proven our business model, built the product, and demonstrated a clear, unmet customer need, attracting over 380,000 registered users to date,” chief executive Arsen Torosian said.

“Our strategic ambition is to make Tap the digital finance platform of choice globally for the large and growing number of people and businesses seeking money and crypto services in one place."

Describing the move to AIM as the logical next step, Torosian added: “The board believes AIM is the right platform for a company of our scale and ambition, providing the profile and access to a wider investor base that will support our growth.

“While much of the growth of e-money platforms has happened in private markets, our move to AIM provides a unique opportunity for public investors to participate on the London Stock Exchange in a proven, profitable, and high-growth fintech journey.”

After Tap Global lists on the LSE, it intends to delist from the Aquis Exchange.
