Allergy Therapeutics PLC (AIM:AGY, OTC:AGYTF), a biotechnology firm specialising in allergy treatments, is showcasing key research findings at the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI) Congress in Glasgow.
Highlights include promising initial results from its peanut allergy vaccine candidate, which demonstrated safety and a significant reduction in allergic reactions in early human trials.
Additionally, its short-course grass pollen allergy therapy, Grass MATA MPL, showed meaningful improvements in patient quality of life, surpassing existing treatments.
The company also revealed biomarker data from its Phase III grass pollen allergy trial, confirming the treatment effectively reduces allergic responses.
These findings strengthen Allergy Therapeutics' position in allergy immunotherapy, indicating the potential of its pipeline to deliver effective, short-course treatments addressing fundamental causes of allergies.
