Resolution Minerals to fast-track US strategy with OTCQB listing

Resolution Minerals Ltd (ASX:RML, OTC:RLMLF) Ltd is finalising its listing on the US OTCQB Market under the ticker symbol RLMLF, in a move aimed at accelerate growth. The decision comes amid growing interest from North American investors and proximity to Perpetua Resources’ critical mineral assets.

The dual listing is expected to bolster Resolution’s profile in the US., attract institutional and retail capital, and potentially pave the way for a future NASDAQ listing. It also enhances accessibility to its Idaho-based Horse Heaven Antimony-Gold-Silver-Tungsten Project, aligning with US policy initiatives to fast-track critical mineral development under the Trump Administration’s FAST-41 framework.

Strong investor appetite for antimony, driven by its critical role in defence, semiconductors and clean energy, as well as China’s export ban, positions Resolution favourably in a tightening market.

“Listing on the OTCQB Market is a strategic move that aligns with our vision of becoming a globally recognised developer of what we believe will become a major Antimony, Gold, Silver and Tungsten deposit in the United States,” Resolution Minerals Executive Director Aharon Zaetz said.

“Appetite from US investors for US based antimony and critical metals exposure is very strong in light of the current favourable market, and RML will now be able to offer these investors exposure to one of the best American antimony assets around.”

US listing accelerates international visibility

Resolution Minerals is finalising its listing on the OTCQB Market, aimed at enabling easier access for North American investors to trade RML shares in US dollars and within US trading hours. The move follows a 90-day expedited application process and complements the company’s existing ASX listing.

The OTCQB platform provides international investors with a simplified route to trade foreign-listed securities while reducing friction such as foreign exchange barriers or brokerage limitations.

RML’s dual-listed peers include Deep Yellow, BrainChip and Sayona Mining. The company anticipates that increased visibility and improved liquidity in the US will strengthen its capital raising capacity and expand its institutional investor base.

“Given the growing interest in RML from US institutions and broader investor base since announcing the Horse Heaven Project agreement, this dual listing will allow us to connect with a much larger investor audience, including the investors who have been involved in the hugely successful Perpetua Resources (PPTA.NAS) next door to Horse Heaven, and unlock the benefits of being accessible to the biggest equity market in the world,” Zaetz said.

Enhanced strategic positioning through Horse Heaven

The listing coincides with Resolution’s acquisition of the Horse Heaven Antimony-Gold-Silver-Tungsten Project in Idaho, a region increasingly in focus due to its proximity to Perpetua Resources’ high-profile Stibnite project. Perpetua’s share price has surged sixfold since February 2024, and Resolution expects to attract a similar investor demographic.

The Horse Heaven Project is seen as a key US-based strategic asset. It aligns with the federal government’s emphasis on securing critical mineral supply chains and could attract Department of Defense funding support.

Antimony, classified as critical under US law, has experienced growing demand due to applications in defence, AI and clean energy, as well as an ongoing global supply deficit.

Positioning for US policy tailwinds and market trends

The US Government has taken significant steps to prioritise critical mineral projects, with the Trump Administration reactivating FAST-41 legislation to expedite permitting. Simultaneously, antimony’s strategic importance is underscored by rising prices and China’s ban on exports—China currently supplies 80% of the global antimony market.

Resolution sees a unique opportunity to capitalise on these geopolitical shifts.

By gaining a stronger US presence, the company is better positioned to pursue mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures and other corporate initiatives.

The OTCQB listing is also viewed as a preparatory step towards a potential NASDAQ listing, further opening the door to deeper US capital markets.
