Nexus Minerals Ltd (ASX:NXM) has received all gold assay results from its recently completed 237-hole, 10,171-metre regional aircore (AC) drill program at the Wallbrook Gold Project in Western Australia's northeastern goldfields.
The results indicate significant progress in expanding the Branches Prospect, with new drilling results confirming a 1-kilometre extension to the mineralised system.

Aircore drilling identifies southern extension at Branches Prospect
The aircore drilling focused on three regional targets — MC1.4, MC4.3, and MC5.4 — across the project area. Drilling at the Branches Prospect, particularly at target MC1.4, has unveiled highly promising results, including:
- 4m at 2.48g/t Au from 20m
- 4m at 1.92g/t Au from surface
- 4m at 0.90g/t Au from 24m

This expansion doubles the strike length of the Branches system to more than 2.1 kilometres, highlighting the area's potential as Nexus continues to explore the gold-rich zone. Previous drill results from Branches Prospect also included significant intersections, such as:
- 5m at 17.91g/t Au (within 8m at 11.37g/t Au from 118m)
- 5m at 5.45g/t Au (within 36m at 2.04g/t Au from 43m)
- 12m at 5.21g/t Au (within 24m at 2.23g/t Au from 25m)
MC4.3 target yields promising gold intercepts
At target MC4.3, the drill program has returned several anomalous intercepts over about 1 kilometre of strike length, underscoring the area's potential for further exploration. Results from MC4.3 include:
- 4m at 1.72g/t Au from 32m
- 8m at 0.45g/t Au from 60m
- 4m at 1.30g/t Au (within 8m at 0.72g/t Au) from 36m

Drilling at MC4.3 has identified multiple gold-bearing zones, which will now undergo additional field studies to verify their economic potential.
Limited results at MC5.4 and next steps
Exploration at target MC5.4, located to the northwest of Wallbrook Gold Mine, returned minimal gold mineralisation and has been discounted from further work. The company will focus its efforts on more promising targets, including the expanded Branches and MC4.3 prospects.
Nexus is also continuing its regional exploration at the Wallbrook Gold Project, with reverse circulation (RC) drilling now under way at the Payns Prospect. This is the first RC program to be completed over one of the recent aircore discoveries, with 4,000 metres of drilling planned to further assess the gold potential.
