Solvonis Therapeutics PLC (LSE:SVNS) has started an artificial intelligence-supported drug discovery programme targeting central nervous system disorders.
The programme is based on a CNS compound library acquired from Awakn Life Sciences Corp. The library includes several patent-pending chemical series developed using in silico design, in vitro screening and in vivo characterisation.
Solvonis will use AI and computational modelling to prioritise assets, analyse structure-activity relationships, and generate translational hypotheses.
Initial efforts will focus on depression and stimulant use disorders.

“The underlying chemistry is robust and scientifically validated, and we believe this approach will bring forward differentiated candidates in areas of persistent clinical need."
