Alusid, the sustainable materials company backed by Frontier IP Group PLC (LSE:FIPP), has signed a second international distribution agreement, this time with Milan-based 3D Wall Panels Italia, to sell its recycled wall and floor tiles across Italy.
The two-and-a-half-year deal grants exclusive rights within Italy and non-exclusive rights elsewhere, subject to sales targets.
It follows a similar arrangement in the Netherlands and marks growing interest in Alusid’s low-carbon tiles, made largely from recycled industrial waste.
3D Wall Panels Italia supplies materials to high-profile clients, including Zara and Lavazza and has previously worked on sets for Masterchef Italia and Top Chef Italia.
Frontier CEO Neil Crabb said: "This agreement provides further evidence that Alusid's groundbreaking materials have global appeal and the potential to make inroads into significant markets within European and elsewhere.
"It builds on existing international relationships with FRONT Materials BV in the Netherlands and Starbucks EMEA and strengthens the Company's position as it continues to explore options for an initial public offering."
