Astral Resources managing director Marc Ducler talked with Proactive about the company’s latest assay results from the Kamperman Deposit, located within the Feysville Gold Project near Kalgoorlie, Western Australia.
Ducler confirmed high-grade gold mineralisation was intersected in multiple zones following recent drilling activities. “One of those lines of drilling has just revealed multiple stack loads of these westerly dipping zones,” he said. The results support further confidence in the viability of the resource, especially as much of the deposit is already in the indicated category.
He noted that a pre-feasibility study (PFS) is on track for release in the current quarter and is expected to demonstrate the potential for producing 100,000 ounces of gold per annum over a 12-year period. The PFS follows on from a 2023 scoping study and will outline a significant upgrade to the project’s financial and operational parameters.
Ducler also highlighted exploration success from aircore drilling at Empire Rose and the central area of the Feysville anticline, where zones of mineralisation were observed along a possible 300-metre strike. Additional drilling is scheduled for the upcoming September quarter.
Astral is also progressing at the Mandilla Gold Project, including extensional drilling and an upcoming 10,000-metre assay program.
