Solis Minerals Ltd (ASX:SLM, TSX-V:SLMN, OTCQB:SLMFF) has applied to voluntarily delist from the TSX Venture Exchange (TSXV), consolidating its listing on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) as the primary platform for trading.
The shift follows a February 2025 placement that left TSXV shareholders holding just 8% of issued securities. With exploration now accelerating at its copper-gold projects in southern Peru, Solis Minerals aims to reduce corporate costs and governance complexity by pursuing a single-market focus.
Re-domiciliation to Australia planned
Solis is also preparing for a re-domiciliation to Australia, which will require shareholder and regulatory approvals.
Further details are expected in a subsequent announcement. The delisting, pending TSXV approval, is anticipated to take effect on or around June 23, 2025. The company believes this structural change will streamline operations and support more effective deployment of resources toward exploration initiatives.
CEO cites cost savings and increased liquidity
Chief executive officer Mitch Thomas said, “We believe that streamlining our listing structure is in the best interests of all shareholders, as it will enhance ASX share liquidity and lower administrative costs associated with maintaining a dual-listing structure between Australia and Canada.”
He also encouraged Canadian shareholders to convert their holdings to CHESS Depositary Interests (CDIs) to continue participating in ASX trading.
Instructions for converting Canadian shares to ASX CDIs
Shareholders on the Canadian register may convert their common shares into CDIs on a 1:1 basis.
- Direct holders must submit a CDI Issuance Form, downloadable from www.investorcentre.com/ca, along with any certificates to Computershare’s Global Transaction Team in Toronto.
- For shares held through intermediaries in the Canadian Depository for Securities (CDS), brokers must initiate a CDS Stock Withdrawal and submit a matched CDI issuance instruction via xSettle.
No fees will be charged by Computershare for this conversion, though intermediary fees may apply. Processing typically takes one to two business days, subject to time zones.
