Guardian Metal Resources boosted as it joins ‘Critical Minerals Forum’

Guardian Metal Resources PLC (LSE:GMET) has joined the Critical Minerals Forum, gaining access to policymakers and capital markets through the DARPA-supported OPEN initiative.

It is expected to support the firm’s objective of reviving domestic tungsten production.

"Joining the Critical Minerals Forum represents a significant opportunity in our mission to re-establish domestic tungsten production,” chief executive Oliver Friesen.

“This membership provides Guardian Metal with direct access to the policymakers, industry leaders, and investors who are driving America's critical minerals strategy.”

Friesen noted that the forum’s link to DARPA's OPEN initiative is particularly valuable as it provides credible market intelligence and forecasting capabilities.

“We look forward to contributing our Nevada operations expertise to the Forum's collective knowledge base while accessing the resources and relationships needed to accelerate our development timelines,” the Guardian Metal chief executive added.

In London, Guardian Metal shares were trading around 3% higher on Monday, at 54p, valuing the company at just over £75 million.
