The ASX 200 is tracking down around 0.15%.
It’s been a mixed bag today - most sectors were in the red mid-session – IT, healthcare and consumer staples have all shed around half a per cent.
Utilities and Energy however are staying afloat – both have shot up around half a per cent.
In what’s making headlines this morning, gold is tipped to cross the $US4000 per ounce this year if the US dollar continues its slide – this is according to State Street Global Advisors gold strategy head Aakash Doshi.
Back on Australian soil,
Dateline Resources (ASX:DTR) is down nearly 8 per cent despite reportedly securing approval to upgrade its US trading status from the OTC Pink Market to the OTCQB Venture Market, from today.
Trading on the OTCQB is hoped to improve Dateline’s liquidity, enhance market visibility and open up doors for American investors to trade in US dollars during US market hours.
