Astral Resources NL (ASX:AAR) has received assay results from 17 in-fill reverse circulation (RC) holes drilled at its Kamperman Deposit within the Feysville Gold Project near Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. The results confirm high-grade gold mineralisation, enhancing the potential of the Kamperman area as part of Astral's broader exploration strategy.
Key highlights from the in-fill program include:
- 9 metres at 5.01g/t Au from 127m, with a high-grade 1 metre at 23.8g/t Au from 129m in FRC417.
- 4 metres at 12.2g/t Au from 119m, including 1 metre at 44.3g/t Au from 121m in FRC414.
- 6 metres at 3.14g/t Au from 121m, with 1 metre at 19.6g/t Au from 150m in FRC411.

These results strengthen Astral's view that the Kamperman Deposit holds significant gold potential, with mineralisation confirmed along sheared ultramafic/porphyry contacts, a key feature that could guide future drilling.
Broader Feysville exploration continues
Beyond Kamperman, Astral has also reported progress at its regional Feysville targets. A comprehensive 313-hole air-core (AC) drill program has been completed across several prospect areas, including the Empire Rose, Central Feysville Anticline and Southern Feysville targets. Encouragingly, gold anomalism has been identified in several areas, particularly within the Central Feysville Anticline.

Astral's managing director, Marc Ducler, highlighted that the Feysville exploration program has successfully delineated new areas of interest for follow-up.
“The 17-hole in-fill RC program was designed to test a number of theories on the orientation of the high-grade gold structures,” he said.
“Strong gold mineralisation associated with sheared ultramafic and porphyry contacts has been consistently intersected in this program, confirming our interpretations of these contacts being a major high-grade mineralisation control,” he added.
“Importantly, the Kamperman deposit remains open, and further drilling, extending to the north and at depth, is required to determine the greater extent of the gold mineralisation.”
Ducler noted that the Central Feysville Anticline, in particular, offers a potential strike length of over 300 metres, warranting further testing in upcoming drilling campaigns.
Next steps for Feysville and Mandilla projects
While the Kamperman Deposit continues to show promise, Astral is equally focused on expanding its Mandilla Gold Project, 70 kilometres south of Kalgoorlie. Drilling at the Iris Deposit, part of Mandilla, has just completed, with results still pending.
The Hestia deposit is also undergoing further exploration, with a 24-hole RC drilling program under way. This work will help define the extent of mineralisation and assess the southern strike extension at the newly acquired Spargoville tenure.
Looking ahead, Ducler added that the company is progressing with a 10,000-metre exploration program at Spargoville, an area with a history of high-grade gold deposits. This represents a significant opportunity to evaluate the broader mineralised potential within the Spargoville Shear Corridor.
With its Mandilla Project advancing, the continued expansion of high-grade gold mineralisation at Kamperman, and promising regional targets emerging at Feysville, Astral Resources is focussing on continued ongoing growth. The company’s systematic exploration strategy is expected to define further gold resources in Western Australia’s highly prospective Yilgarn Craton.
