Verint shares jump as strong Q1 results, AI momentum buoy outlook

Verint Systems (NASDAQ:VRNT) posted better-than-expected first-quarter results and reaffirmed its full-year guidance, sending its shares climbing on Thursday.

The company reported adjusted earnings per share of $0.29 on revenue of $208 million, beating Wall Street estimates of $0.13 and $194.6 million, respectively.

Despite posting a net loss of $2.4 million, Verint’s AI-driven offerings showed strong traction, with annual recurring revenue (ARR) from AI solutions growing 24% year-over-year to $354 million. AI now represents nearly half of the company’s total subscription ARR.

Bundled SaaS revenue rose 24% to $81.3 million, while SaaS pipeline growth exceeded 30% year-over-year.

Verint reaffirmed its fiscal 2026 guidance, expecting total revenue of $960 million, plus or minus 3%, and EPS of $2.93. The company anticipates AI ARR growth of over 20% this year, driven by greater customer adoption of its nearly 50 AI-powered bots integrated into hybrid cloud environments.

Wedbush analysts, who maintained an “Outperform” rating and a $30 price target, said Verint “continues to differentiate itself through proven AI outcomes.”

“With the AI Revolution bringing in $2 trillion of fresh spending over the next decade, Verint has positioned itself well to build further momentum within the CX market heading into FY26 by making it easier to infuse AI into workflows with its fleet of (around) 50 AI-powered bots without disruption while more customers convert from onprem to cloud,” analysts wrote.

Shares of Verint rose as much as 16% aftermarket Wednesday before settling around 3.5% higher on Thursday afternoon.
