Standard Uranium Ltd (TSX-V:STND, OTCQB:STTDF) said it has engaged Axiom Exploration Group to complete a NI 43-101 technical report on its Corvo uranium project in northern Saskatchewan, as the company prepares for its first exploration program on the property this summer.
Corvo is under a three-year earn-in agreement with Aventis Energy Inc. (CSE: AVE).
The upcoming report will compile historical exploration data alongside new geophysical and sampling results, including data from a 2025 TDEM survey.
Corvo hosts historical drill holes with uranium mineralization over an 800-metre strike length, with past highlights including 0.12% U₃O₈ over 1.05 metres and surface samples as high as 6% U₃O₈.
“I look forward to working closely with Axiom to publish the NI 43-101 Technical Report on Corvo,” said Sean Hillacre, president and vice president of exploration of Standard Uranium. “The timing is ideal to engage Axiom and construct the first technical report on this exciting project.”
Standard Uranium also announced the closing of a previously disclosed non-brokered private placement, raising gross proceeds of C$1.01 million. The company issued 7.8 million non-flow-through units at $0.06 and 7.2 million flow-through units at $0.075.
Each unit includes one common share and one-half of a warrant exercisable at $0.15 until June 2027.
Proceeds will fund exploration activities and general working capital, the company said.
