Power Metallic gears up for aggressive summer program at Nisk project

Power Metallic Mines Inc (TSX-V:PNPN, OTCQB:PNPNF) has reported the final assay results from its winter 2025 drill campaign, with promising intersections at the Lion Zone and early signs of mineralization at Nisk East.

Nine holes were drilled at the Lion Zone, with highlights including 12.54 meters grading 3.1 g/t gold, 25.5 g/t silver, 4.1% copper, 12.1 g/t palladium, and 2 g/t platinum, for a copper equivalent of 11%.

The result suggests the high-grade plunge may be shifting westward, a target that will be followed up in the company’s summer program starting this week.

The summer campaign will include overland and helicopter-supported drilling, mapping, prospecting, and airborne EM surveys — the company’s largest exploration push to date.

“We try and provide as much visibility as possible, and we think the results have been worth the wait,” said CEO Terry Lynch. “Let’s just see how connected these mineralized areas are.”

One of two holes drilled at Nisk East intersected Lion-style mineralization, validating geological models linking the Lion and Nisk zones.

Power Metallic is ramping up exploration efforts with six drills planned and new core facilities under construction.

Shares of Power Metallic added 5.9% in Toronto on Wednesday, rising to C$1.25.
