BioHarvest Sciences Inc. (NASDAQ:BHST) has launched a new product tailored to athletes and individuals with active lifestyles called VINIA DailyChews 2X Formula.
The developer of botanical-based wellness products using its proprietary Botanical Synthesis said this new product is now available for purchase in a 30-count pack through VINIA.com.
VINIA DailyChews 2X Formula is formulated with twice the amount of BioHarvest's red grape cell composition compared to its original formula.
Each chew delivers 800mg of VINIA and 12mg of Piceid resveratrol, an active compound clinically shown to support arterial dilation. This physiological effect helps increase nitric oxide production, enhance blood flow, and improve oxygen and nutrient delivery to muscles and tissues, which are key factors for optimizing physical and cognitive performance.
Notably, the product has secured Informed Sport certification, which ensures that every batch is tested for banned substances. This certification is widely recognized in professional sports and military circles, signaling the product’s compliance with strict safety and quality standards, BioHarvest Sciences noted.
"Our customers lead dynamic, high-performance lives, and they deserve a product that meets the highest standards for efficacy, safety and ease of use," BioHarvest CEO Ilan Sobel said in a statement.
"The launch of VINIA DailyChews 2X Formula - with Informed Sport certification - marks a major milestone as we expand into the athlete and fitness enthusiast segment of the multi-billion-dollar nutraceuticals market and address a younger consumer base.”
He highlighted that the company’s new international eCommerce platform supports global orders, allowing customers in countries that allow the import of supplements, such as the United Kingdom and Australia, to have VINIA products delivered directly to their doorstep.
"This launch complements our growing VINIA Inside portfolio, which includes the core capsule business and hot beverage line of teas and coffees, reflecting our broader strategy to meet increasing global demand for plant-based, science-backed solutions," Sobel said.
Shares of BioHarvest rose around 3.3% in New York reaching $6.85 in early Wednesday trading.
