The Trump Organisation has distanced itself from a cryptocurrency wallet branded with the former president's name, stating it has no knowledge of the '$TRUMP Wallet' project, according to a report by Coindesk.
Despite the app's branding and claims, a spokesperson for the Trump Organisation told CoinDesk, "The Trump Organisation knows nothing about this project."
The wallet's website suggests users will be able to trade and hold digital assets, inviting them to join a waitlist.
However, it lacks technical documentation or a clear launch timeline.
Donald Trump Jr. also stated on X that the organisation has "zero involvement with this wallet product", though he mentioned that World Liberty Financial, a venture linked to the Trump family, will "soon" launch its own wallet.
