Chill Brands expects shares to resume trading soon

Chill Brands Group PLC (LSE:CHLL, OTCQB:CHBRF) expects its shares will resume trading in the coming weeks, as it told investors that it intends to publish financial results shortly.

Specifically, in a stock market statement, Chill said it expects to publish its audited financial results for the year ended 31 March 2024 in June, and its unaudited interim accounts for the six months to 30 September 2024 shortly after.

After that, it plans to request the Financial Conduct Authority to lift the current suspension of trading in its shares.

In the business, meanwhile, the company highlighted that it recently launched a new UK subsidiary, Chill Connect Limited, to support its growing distribution business.

Chill Connect aims to provide services to brands in health, wellness and fast-moving consumer goods. Since launching in the fourth quarter of 2024, the division has signed contracts with several companies, including a major UK vape e-liquid brand, an emerging oral nicotine pouch firm, and a European market entrant with a broad product range.

It is also in discussions to secure additional agreements with brands in the vape and tobacco alternatives space.

In preparation for the UK’s upcoming ban on disposable vapes, effective 1 June 2025, Chill Brands has transitioned its offering to rechargeable, pod-based devices from multiple brands.

Earlier this month, Chill Brands raised $1 million through the issue of loan notes.
