Blockmate Ventures launches Wyoming-based Bitcoin mining subsidiary

Blockmate Ventures Inc (TSX-V:MATE, OTCQB:MATEF) has announced the launch of Blockmate Mining, a wholly-owned Bitcoin mining subsidiary based in Wyoming.

The company said Blockmate Mining will focus on large-scale digital asset infrastructure, beginning with an initial deployment of 10 megawatts (MW) and aiming to scale up to 200MW.

The Wyoming site, located next to a major power substation, offers electricity rates of around US$0.03 per kilowatt hour. According to the company, the site has the potential to produce approximately 200 Bitcoin per month at full capacity, based on current mining conditions.

Blockmate Mining said it will operate under a “mine-and-hold” model, retaining a substantial portion of mined Bitcoin on its balance sheet.

The company plans to pursue capital appreciation as well as an annual yield of 7% to 15% through custody solutions and yield-generating strategies such as lending or staking.

“Blockmate Mining is a natural extension of our mission to deliver long-term value through real digital asset infrastructure,” Blockmate CEO Justin Rosenberg said in a statement.

“With our Wyoming site secured and investor interest already strong, we’re positioned to build a highly scalable and capital-efficient mining operation. We’re focused on both generating Bitcoin and maximizing its long-term value for shareholders.”

Domenic Carosa, Blockmate Ventures founder and chairman, added that the company sees a significant opportunity beyond Bitcoin mining for the Wyoming site, which also offers flexibility to support AI and HPC workloads.

“Blockmate Mining is uniquely positioned to capitalize on both the digital asset and AI revolutions,” Carosa said.

Further, the company said it is exploring a range of capital raise opportunities, including traditional equity, strategic investor partnerships, and innovative tokenized financing models linked to future Bitcoin output.

Blockmate shares gained around 18.5% over the counter in New York.
