Janus Electric Holdings Ltd has officially entered the public arena, completing its reverse takeover and listing on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX). The clean-transport innovator is targeting a 1% slice of Australia’s prime mover market with its revolutionary battery-electric truck conversions.
Earlier this week, we spoke with managing director and CEO Ian Campbell, who said “We’re not just electrifying trucks — we’re rewriting the economics of freight, Our patented battery-swap technology allows drivers to swap power packs in under four minutes, eliminating the range anxiety and charging delays that plague conventional EVs.”

Ramping production
Already, 142 truck orders are in the pipeline. Janus is ramping up production at its newly launched EV truck factory on the NSW Central Coast — a national first. The company plans to open regional dealerships across South Australia, Victoria, Western Australia and internationally in the US.
With $8.8 million raised through its RTO, Janus will invest in battery infrastructure, working capital, and facility upgrades to meet surging demand.
Fleet operators can expect to save about 20 cents per kilometre — a compelling business case in a high-cost, high-mileage industry.
As global logistics decarbonise, Janus Electric positions itself as a scalable, revenue-generating solution with real-world traction — and now, the capital backing to go further, faster.
