Flinders Resources (CVE:FDR) elected Blair Way, Nick DeMare, Mark Saxon, Michael Hudson and Robert Atkinson to serve as directors of the Company for the ensuing year at its Annual General and Special Meeting of Shareholders on May 21, the company said in a statement.
The meeting participants approved the ratification of Flinders’s10% rolling stock option plan as well as the ratification of an amendment to the Plan to enable the Company to issue stock options to Eligible Charitable Organizations in accordance with TSX Venture Exchange policies.
Flinders also adopted new articles to ensure consistency with the provisions of British Columbia’s Business Corporations Act and to improve administrative procedures, reducing associated costs and overhead.
The graphite miner also appointed D+H Group LLP, Chartered Accountants, as the auditors of the Company for the ensuing year.
Finally, Flinders’ directors appointed Blair Way to continue as President and Chief Executive Officer, confirming Nick DeMare as Chief Financial Officer and Ms. Mariana Bermudez as Corporate Secretary of the Company.
Flinders owns and operates the Woxna graphite project in Sweden, which covers four separate mining concessions and holds measured and indicated graphite resources of 7.7 million tonnes at 9.3% Cg.
Flinders operates one of the few flake graphite mines in Europe. The company resumed production at its Woxna mine in 2014 in order to address graphite demand from Germany.
