Faron Pharmaceuticals Limited (AIM:FARN) has appointed Ralph Hughes as chief business officer, as the Finnish immunotherapy company looks to strengthen its commercial capabilities ahead of key clinical milestones.
Hughes, who joins on 28 May, will take a seat on the management team and business development committee.
He most recently served as senior vice-president at PharmaVentures, advising life sciences clients on commercial strategy, licensing, and market access.
Faron, which is dual-listed in London and Helsinki, is developing immunotherapies targeting difficult-to-treat cancers, including its lead asset bexmarilimab.
The company said Hughes’s experience in commercial launch planning and pricing strategy would be instrumental as it progresses towards later-stage development.
