Polarean Imaging PLC (AIM:POLX, OTC:PLLWF) announced that its chief scientific officer, Dr Bastiaan Driehuys, has received the 2025 American Thoracic Society Research Innovation and Translation Achievement Award. The honour recognises his pioneering role in developing Xenon MRI technology, which enables advanced imaging of lung function. Dr Driehuys invented hyperpolarised gas MRI during his doctoral studies at Princeton and later co-founded Polarean.
