Bradda Head ‘delighted’ after research collab delivers important insights into Arizona’s lithium deposits

Bradda Head Lithium Ltd (AIM:BHL, OTC:BHLIF, TSX-V:BHLI) executive chair Ian Stalker said he was delighted with the findings of new academic work that’s shed important insights into the geology of northwestern Arizona.

This is where the AIM-quoted firm’s San Domingo lithium project is found.

A study has been published in the Society of Economic Geologists (SEG) publication by members of the Arizona Geological Survey, in collaboration with Bradda Head.

It is entitled “Geology, Geochemistry, and Potential Origins of the Basin Volcano-Sedimentary Lithium Deposit, Kaiser Spring Volcanic Field, Northwestern Arizona”, and it is part of a broader initiative focused on global lithium deposits.

The study, supported by the company’s drill data and geologic mapping, presents evidence for a buried Miocene-aged maar crater filled with lithium-rich clay, pyroclastic rocks, and basalt flows.

It forms one of two forthcoming compendiums to be published by the SEG, the company added.

Joey Wilkins and Brendan Fenerty, Bradda Head’s chief operating officer and geologist, respectively, spearheaded the company's contribution to the SEG publication.

“We are delighted to see the final product of this important research, highlighting the significance of Bradda's work for purposes beyond our immediate imperative and advantageous for those local to our operations,” Ian Stalker said in Monday’s statement.

“We look forward to continuing these relationships and lending our insight to develop a truly exceptional understanding of the geology and origin of lithium at our Basin project, as it relates to clay deposits."
