Cerro de Pasco Resources eyes secondary listing on Lima Stock Exchange

Cerro de Pasco Resources (TSX-V:CDPR, OTC:GPPRF) has announced its intention to pursue a secondary listing of its shares on the Lima Stock Exchange.

The company’s primary listing will remain on the TSX Venture Exchange.

The move is part of CDPR’s strategy to expand its presence in Latin America, improve access for regional investors, broaden its shareholder base, and enhance trading liquidity, the company said on Thursday.

“A listing on the BVL would enhance CDPR’s visibility and trading liquidity, while opening the door for broader participation in the company’s growth from Latin American institutional and retail investors, including Peruvian pension funds,” CDPR CEO Guy Goulet said in a statement.

“We view this as a natural step forward in aligning our capital markets presence with the region where our core operations and long-term vision are anchored.”

The company has appointed Kallpa Securities SAB as its sponsor and advisor for the listing process. Kallpa is a Peruvian investment firm specializing in equity sales, research, and corporate finance, and currently serves as the exclusive sponsor for all 10 junior mining companies cross-listed on the TSXV and BVL.

The listing application is expected to be filed within the next 30 days, with completion anticipated within two to three months, subject to regulatory approvals.

CDPR plans to use the TSX Venture Exchange Passport Listing Process for the BVL listing. This process enables qualified issuers to fast-track secondary listings on approved exchanges, including the BVL, while maintaining existing Canadian disclosure and governance standards.

The Lima Stock Exchange is now part of NUAM Exchange, a regional holding company that integrates the stock exchanges of Chile, Colombia, and Peru, offering increased visibility and access to a broader pool of institutional and retail investors.
