Trust Stamp and Partisia partner on privacy-first biometric identity solution

T Stamp Inc (NASDAQ:IDAI, EURONEXT:AIID) dba Trust Stamp said it has formed a strategic partnership with cryptographic tech firm Partisia to jointly develop a secure and decentralized biometric identity solution.

The collaboration will combine Trust Stamp’s biometric verification system with Partisia’s Multi-Party Computation (MPC) technology to create a privacy-centric method for binding digital credentials to an individual’s biometric data, the companies said in a statement.

Unlike conventional systems that rely on centralized databases or biometric templates, the new solution allows users to cryptographically prove their identity without exposing sensitive information.

Trust Stamp’s technology transforms biometric inputs into non-reversible representations, while Partisia’s MPC platform ensures that data remains private and secure even during verification.

“Our collaboration is about accelerating the industry’s progress toward delivering the ease users expect—while enabling a secure, reusable identity across platforms,” said Jonathan Patscheider, vice president at Trust Stamp.

“It’s a step toward a future where seamless login replaces repetitive onboarding and protects personal data.”

The solution will be integrated with the Global Omnichain Data Service (GODS) Network to allow secure data verification across a wide range of ecosystems, including finance, government, digital services and Web3 platforms. The interoperable identity format aims to reduce onboarding friction and minimize unnecessary data exposure by enabling the reuse of verified credentials.

“Biometric holder binding is fundamental to establishing trust in digital identity,” said Mark Medum Bundgaard, chief product officer at Partisia. “Our work with Trust Stamp makes this trust more accessible, demonstrating that robust privacy standards and ease of use can coexist in harmony.”

Trust Stamp and Partisia said the joint offering could help regulated industries such as banking, healthcare, and government modernize their identity systems, reduce fraud risks and meet compliance requirements.

Shares of Trust Stamp rose on the news, adding 5.5% in early trade on Thursday.
