eToro targets $620 million in US IPO after pricing above range

eToro is aiming to raise approximately $620 million through a US initial public offering after pricing its shares at $52 each, above the expected range of $46 to $50.

The upsized fundraiser will give the Israali trading platform a market value of just under $4.3 billion.

That's a far cry from the $10 billion price tag the group carried when it tried and failed in 2022 to list via a SPAC as the boom in such frothy transactions was fading.

The stock is due to begin trading on the Nasdaq on 14 May under the symbol ETOR.

Last September, the company agreed to restrict its US crypto services to bitcoin, bitcoin cash and ether following a settlement with regulators.

Goldman Sachs, Jefferies, UBS and Citigroup are leading the offering.

eToro, founded in 2007 by Yoni and Ronen Assia and David Ring.
