Clinical trials group hVIVO PLC (AIM:HVO) will see two senior board members step down at its annual general meeting next month, including its long-serving chair Cathal Friel and non-executive director Martin Gouldstone.
Friel, who co-founded the business in 2017 and has chaired it for eight years, will leave the board after the 5 June meeting.
Senior independent director Dr Elaine Sullivan will take on the role of interim chair while the search for a permanent replacement continues.
Gouldstone, who joined the board in June 2022, is stepping down to focus on other business interests.
hVIVO said it expects to appoint a new independent non-executive director ahead of the meeting, subject to regulatory approval. The incoming director is expected to chair the audit committee.
The announcements came alongside the publication of hVIVO’s 2024 annual report and notice of AGM, which are available on the company’s website.
