Sidney Resources Corporation (OTC:SDRC) CEO Dan Hally talked with Proactive about the company’s progress at its project in the historic Warren Mining District of Idaho.
The project, covering over 208 acres of private land and more than 4,000 acres of mining claims, includes deposits of gold, silver, platinum group metals (PGMs), and rare earths. Hally explained that the project supports both U.S. national security goals and environmental remediation efforts.
The company is working with its contractor, Western Frontier, and has identified metallurgical complexity linked to a meteor strike, expanding the project’s scope from a gold-silver deposit to include iridium, osmium, platinum, and palladium.
Hally stated, “We’ve now successfully been able to separate the gold, silver, platinum and palladium from these alloyed materials, which is huge.” Sidney Resources has established a six-step extraction process that blends ancient techniques with modern methodologies and is now preparing to scale this from lab work to commercial processing.
Infrastructure development is also underway, including new road access that avoids water crossings and supports environmental restoration. The company intends to remove old paths, reduce silt contamination, and align with the goals of conservation groups and tribal communities.
