Valereum raises £500,000 to back digital asset push

Valereum PLC (AQSE:VLRM) has raised £500,000 through a placing of new shares to support the rollout of its digital asset services, including its Real-World Asset (RWA) Markets platform.

The investment round is expected to complete by 14 May, subject only to the shares being admitted to trading on the AQSE Growth Market.

The company said the proceeds will provide working capital to help scale its digital asset initiatives.

It added it remains confident in Valereum’s ability to build shareholder value through a strategy rooted in regulatory compliance, proprietary technology and operational independence.

As part of the fundraise, Valereum also issued warrants to advisers to subscribe for up to one million shares at the placing price over the next three years.

Chairman James Formolli said: "Bringing in external investors represents a strong endorsement of the company's vision and long-term potential.

"This new capital allows Valereum to move forward at pace, strengthens our balance sheet, and provides the resources needed for us to explore the exciting opportunities ahead."
