Standard Uranium Ltd (TSX-V:STND, OTCQB:STTDF) has engaged Jasper Management and Advisory Corp to provide corporate administration and financial advisory services, the Canadian explorer said Monday.
As part of the agreement, Standard appointed Vivien Chuang as chief financial officer and Alicia Krywaniuk as corporate secretary. Jasper’s CEO, Gord Keep, and Fort Capital’s Andrew Judson will also join as company advisors.
“We are very pleased to have engaged the team at Jasper, and we look forward to working together to drive shareholder value,” said Jon Bey, CEO and chairman.
“Standard Uranium has built a solid uranium exploration company, and we now have a financial advisory group providing us with their expertise to propel our business on the capital markets side.”
Chuang, a chartered professional accountant with over 15 years of experience in the mining sector, previously held senior roles at multiple exploration companies. Krywaniuk brings experience in corporate finance, compliance, and governance within the resource industry.
The company also launched a private placement to raise up to C$500,000 through a mix of standard and flow-through units, with proceeds earmarked for exploration and working capital.
In addition, Standard granted 890,000 stock options and 1.1 million restricted share units to directors and officers under its omnibus incentive plan.
Standard operates in Canada’s Athabasca Basin and holds more than 94,000 hectares of uranium exploration properties across the region, including the Davidson River, Sun Dog, and several eastern basin projects.
