Stellantis NV (NYSE:STLA, EPA:STLA) said on Wednesday it was withdrawing its 2025 outlook due to uncertainty over new US trade tariffs introduced by President Donald Trump.
The Fiat and Jeep carmaker had previously expected modest growth in profit and cash flow this year but now says it is too difficult to judge the impact of evolving tariffs on demand and competition.
The move echoes a similar step by General Motors earlier this week.
Stellantis had already been under pressure after a 64% drop in adjusted profit last year and over €6 billion in negative cash flow, largely tied to weakness in its US operations.
First-quarter revenues fell 14% to €35.8 billion. Although Trump later eased some of the tariff burden, Stellantis said the overall outlook had become too unpredictable to maintain guidance.
