Howden Joinery Group (LSE:HWDN) topped the FTSE 100 leaderboard on Tuesday morning, up 6.6% following a positive AGM trading statement that indicated trading was "on track" with the full-year outlook.
Revenue for the kitchen cabinet maker was up 3% in the first 16 weeks of the year, up to mid-April, including 2.6% for the UK and 17% for international.
On a like-for-like basis, UK revenue grew 1.4%, while international revenue was up 15%.
Analyst Clyde Lewis at Peel Hunt said he sees no changes to market forecasts following this update.
However, the shares had been down over 12% since the start of the year, hitting a 17-month low earlier this month.
