International staffing group Empresaria (LON:EMR) has made a good start to the year, delivering year-on-year like-for-like revenue growth.
Speaking at the firm's annual general meeting, chairman Tony Martin said each of the group's three regions – the UK, Continental Europe and the Rest of the World – are profitable and enjoying growth, while the investments made in 2014 are performing well, in line with expectations.
“As part of our stated strategy we are focused on developing leading brands with sector expertise whilst increasing our footprint in key economic centres. As such, we will continue to look for opportunities for both organic and external investments,” Martin said.
The group remains on course to meet market expectations for the full year, which house broker Shore Capital noted follows on from a performance in 2014 that saw good cash generation metrics.
“With a strengthening balance sheet we believe that prospects for continued growth and development remain positive,” the broker said.
