Marks and Spencer Group PLC (LSE:MKS) were down as much as 3.5 per cent this week as the retailer continued to grapple with a cyberattack that has disrupted services across its network.
A Times article cites the company as confirming that click-and-collect orders remain suspended and online deliveries are still subject to delays, following an incident that began on Monday.
In-store contactless payments have also been halted, with the company taking what it described as a “proactive decision” to move some operations offline to protect staff, suppliers and systems.
Despite the disruption, shops remain open, and M&S said it is working with cybersecurity experts to restore full service.
In afternoon trading, the shares were off 5.64p at 394.26p.
