Investors in Thruvision Group PLC (AIM:THRU, OTC:DIGTF) didn’t wait for an RNS.
Shares in the people-screening specialist rocketed 33% in early trading after the company casually dropped news of a major order... on LinkedIn.
In a post on the social media site, Thruvision revealed it had secured a multi-site rollout from a large UK-based logistics customer.
The order includes deployments of its WalkTHRU and SpotCHECK systems, used to detect concealed items on staff in warehouses and secure facilities.
The announcement prompted a sharp mark-up of the price, but confirmation has yet to appear on the London Stock Exchange’s regulatory news service, the usual forum for price-sensitive updates.
In early trading, the shares were up 0.5p at 2p.
