Nissan plans to cut production of its Rogue SUV in Japan by 13,000 units between May and July in response to new 25% US import tariffs, according to Reuters citing a source familiar with the matter.
The reduction will affect output at its Kyushu plant, Nissan’s largest domestic facility, though it will continue operating two shifts daily.
The Rogue, Nissan’s top-selling US model, accounted for over 246,000 sales last year. With the US being Nissan’s biggest market, the company is particularly exposed to tariff-related disruptions.
