Oracle Power PLC (AIM:ORCP) told investors it has completed a maiden geochemical sampling programme at its Blue Rock copper and silver project, in Western Australia.
Contractor, Apex Geoscience, collected 277 geochemical samples and three rock chip samples which have been sent to labs in Perth for analysis.
Assay results are expected in three to four weeks.
"It is great to get on-ground work underway for 2025 as the maiden sampling programme is completed by Apex Geoscience over the gravity anomalies that strike over ~2km around the high-grade copper rock chip samples,” chief executive Naheed Memon said.
He added: “Geochemical sampling will be used as a multi vector to rank gravity anomalies for priority drilling.”
Oracle is considering additional geophysical techniques, including drone-based MobileMT surveys.
