IQ-AI is ‘very encouraged’ by preliminary trial data

IQ-AI Ltd (LSE:IQAI, OTCQB:IQAIF) has reported encouraging preliminary data from a phase I trial evaluating oral Gallium Maltolate (GaM) in patients with recurrent or refractory glioblastoma.

The study, which is close to completion, included 23 evaluable patients.

Early results show an overall survival of 14 months from the start of GaM treatment and 32 months from initial diagnosis.

Nineteen of the patients had undergone redo surgeries.

The agent was taken daily and showed excellent tolerability with no serious adverse events reported.

"While this data is preliminary and further work is required, we are very encouraged by the promising early signals suggesting prolonged overall survival and potential anti-tumour activity with GaM," chief executive Trevor Brown said.
