Predictmedix AI Inc. (CSE:PMED, OTCQB:PMEDF) highlighted the potential of its Smart Health AI Stations amid the Food and Drug Administration (FDA)’s move to phase out mandatory animal testing in drug development.
The company sees the regulatory shift as an opportunity to position its technology as a scalable and human-focused alternative for early-stage clinical evaluations.
Traditionally, drug developers have relied heavily on animal models to predict human outcomes, despite inherent biological differences that can limit accuracy, the company noted.
Predictmedix’s technology addresses this gap by offering real-time, AI-driven assessments of human physiological and cognitive responses. The platform monitors vital signs and markers of fatigue, impairment, and infection using contactless sensors and machine learning.
With over 500,000 scans already conducted, the system has demonstrated up to 95% accuracy in detecting key health indicators.
Its modular design allows for deployment across hospitals, research institutions, and clinical trial sites, offering pharmaceutical companies a non-invasive and data-rich solution in line with evolving regulatory expectations.
