Ocean Power Technologies Inc (NYSE-A:OPTT) announced that it has signed a reseller agreement with Grava Hydrographic Solutions, strengthening its US distribution network for its Wave Adaptive Modular Vessels (WAM-V) unmanned surface vehicles.
Grava Hydro, a US-based expert in hydrographic and oceanographic equipment integration, will now support the availability, sales, and servicing of OPT’s WAM-V platforms across the country.
The partnership aligns with OPT’s ongoing strategy to broaden access to its marine robotics offerings through channel partners, particularly for customers in need of data collection, coastal monitoring, and survey capabilities.
“Partnering with Grava Hydro represents a significant step in strengthening our domestic reseller network,” OPT CEO Philipp Stratmann said.
“Their expertise in hydrographic services and established customer relationships position them as an ideal partner to showcase and deploy our WAM-V technology in real-world environments.”
Shares of Ocean Power were up nearly 3% in Thursday morning trading.
