Pantoro Gold Ltd managing director Paul Cmrlec talked with Proactive about strong new drill results from the OK Underground Mine — part of its broader Norseman project in Western Australia.
Cmrlec highlighted the high-grade nature of the gold intercepts, which come from the first extensional drilling program since the feasibility study. The drilling has returned promising results both down-dip and along strike in the Star of Erin and O2 lodes.
“This is a very high grade coming out of the drilling at OK,” Cmrlec said. “That’s no great surprise to us. OK is performing very strongly.”
The drilling is part of a wider plan to support ongoing resource and reserve growth. Cmrlec noted that the OK Mine began with a smaller reserve and has already demonstrated significant growth potential.
At a broader level, he outlined Pantoro’s progress at the Norseman project, where multiple developments are underway — including work at Scotia, re-entry into the historic high-grade Mainfield area at Bullen, and the restart of open pits at Princess Royal.
He also discussed the company’s 17-to-1 share consolidation and its focus on sustaining positive cash flow while targeting production of 200,000 ounces per year.
