Beeks Financial Cloud boosted by FX client win

Beeks Financial Cloud Group PLC (AIM:BKS) shares traded higher in Tuesday’s early deals after signing a multi-year deal worth $2 million with "a leading foreign exchange and multi-asset brokerage firm".

The deal sees Beek’s Proximity Cloud trading infrastructure across the client’s FX platform.

Revenue from the contract will begin in the second half of its current financial year, Beeks said.

It follows a similar recent contract with Kraken, the crypto exchange.

“This win reflects the growing demand for our solutions as financial services organisations accelerate their cloud strategies,” chief executive Gordon McArthur said in a statement.

“We remain focused on the conversion of our substantial pipeline and we are confident in our ability to capitalise on the growth opportunity ahead."

In London, Beeks traded up 7% changing hands at 199.36p, having reached up to 208p is early deals.
