Bradda Head Lithium Ltd (AIM:BHL, OTC:BHLIF, TSX-V:BHLI) has been given the green light to drill at its San Domingo pegmatite targets in Arizona.
The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) granted approval for two Notices of Intent (NOIs), allowing construction of 37 drill pads at Dragon and 35 at San Domingo North.
It will target multiple areas including ‘Dragon’, ‘Ruby Soho’, and ‘Midnight Owl’
"Bradda Head is now in a position to move quickly as our permits at San Domingo have been fully approved for drilling, with a cost-effective strategy to progress the shallow, undrilled targets that could lead us to resource development,” executive chair Ian Stalker said in a statement.
Adding detail, he said: “We have already identified multiple highly prospective targets, including Dragon where we observe a dominance of very large spodumene crystals and up to 600 meters of outcropping pegmatites with visible mineralization.
“At Ruby Soho, we have seen over 250 meters of strike length and continuous lithium mineralization. Having looked in detail at Midnight Owl, we believe a sub-horizontal lithium-rich pegmatite went largely untested by prior drilling.”
Meanwhile, at the Basin West project, the firm is advancing work on an Environmental Assessment (EA), now that it has had an amendment to its plans accepted by the BLM.
This allows the firm to complete the EA and build on the project’s resources.
Bradda and the BLM remain 'highly encouraged' about the project, it added.
“This is a fantastic development that edges us towards our objective of a potential production decision,” Stalker said.
“We look forward to providing updates on progress in due course."
