Zephyr Energy PLC (AIM:ZPHR, OTCQB:ZPHRF) is now preparing to start well testing at the Paradox Basin project, in Utah.
The company told investors that the State 36-2 LNW-CC-R well has been successfully perforated - making 98 cuts across sixteen stages, using Halliburton wellbore technology.
It noted positive pressure responses during the procedure, suggesting good connectivity with the Cane Creek reservoir.
The well also received acid treatment to increase near-wellbore permeability.
Initial test results are expected by the end of April 2025, depending on the weather.
"We are highly encouraged by operations to date and are excited about the imminent commencement of the production testing,” chief executive Colin Harrington said.
"We look forward to providing further updates in due course."
