Verici Dx PLC (AIM:VRCI) told investors it has seen a significant increase in Tutivia test orders during the first quarter.
The company, which has an RNA-based test used by patients before kidney transplants, said it had 292 orders – up 68% increase from the previous quarter, and compared to 334 orders in all of 2024.
Also, it noted that an order threshold has now been reached under its contact with Thermo Fisher and it is invoicing $750,000.
Notably, it comes ahead of decisions in America over local coverage determination under the Medicare federal health program.
"I am extremely proud of the progress we have made since our last update, particularly when viewed in the context of limited resources and, ahead of the local coverage determination for Tutivia,” chief executive Sara Barrington said.
Verici told investors it held $1.63 million in cash at 31 March.
