Klarna, StubHub reportedly halt IPO plans amid market volatility

Swedish buy now, pay later giant Klarna and online ticket marketplace StubHub have both reportedly paused their initial public offering (IPO) plans due to market turbulence, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Klarna, which filed publicly for a US PO last month, had aimed to raise at least $1 billion and sought a valuation exceeding $15 billion, Bloomberg reported. The company had planned to list on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol KLAR.

StubHub was also preparing to go public on the NYSE under the ticker STUB, but has reportedly shelved its IPO due to uncertainty stemming from President Trump’s tariff plan. The company and its advisers were concerned that investors might not have sufficient time to meet with them, leading to the cancellation of their planned roadshow, WSJ reported.

The decision to pull the listing comes as Wall Street assesses the impact of market swings on major IPOs. AI cloud computing provider CoreWeave, for example, has seen a volatile start following its public debut.
