SDI Group PLC (AIM:SDI) has acquired Collins Walker Ltd for £1.85 million.
The designer and maker of electric boilers for industrial applications will be added to SDI’s Industrial & Scientific Products division.
The acquisition is expected to be earnings enhancing in its first full year, SDI noted, and, in particular, synergies are anticipated with SDI portfolio companies Applied Thermal Control and LTE Scientific.
"Collins Walker represents a strategic acquisition for SDI, aligning with our core investment criteria through its established position within a regulatory-driven, high-growth sector with international reach,” said SDI chief executive Stephen Brown.
“Its lean, profitable operations offer a compelling opportunity for expansion, leveraging existing Group manufacturing capacity to capitalise on the growing Net Zero and energy efficiency markets.”
