CleanTech Lithium PLC (AIM:CTL, OTCQX:CTLHF) updated investors on its application for a Special Lithium Operating Contract (CEOL) for its Laguna Verde project in Chile.
The company said that while it initially expected a government update at the beginning of April, it has yet to receive confirmation of when applicants will enter direct negotiations.
CleanTech Lithium said it understands the administration process is still progressing for all applicants, following recent discussions with the Ministry.
"Clearly, the process is taking a little longer than we had initially anticipated but we look forward to the response when the Ministry has completed its review process,” executive chair Steve Kesler said.
