Helium One reports improved rate with Jackson-4 well

Helium One Global Ltd (AIM:HE1, OTCQB:HLOGF)has announced the initial results from the Jackson-4 well testing, with a flow rate of 190 thousand cubic feet per day (Mcfd) reported.

It marks an improvement from the State-16 well, which flowed at 150 Mcfd, the company noted.

Stabilised flow rates are expected to be in the range of 250 and 350 Mcfd, with a maximum potential of 450 Mcfd.

Helium One also reported gas sample results which revealed helium concentrations of 1.18%, in line with expectations – as Jackson-4 is one of the southernmost wells on the Galactica-Pegasus project and was anticipated to potentially access higher CO2 and lower helium concentrations,

The company noted that in gas processing, carbon dioxide concentrations are crucial for effective blending.

Jackson-4 was drilled down to 1,260 feet in the Upper Lyons Formation, and it encountered the Lyons Sandstone Formation at 1,198 feet.

As expected, no water was encountered during drilling of the Lyons Sandstone Formation with wireline logs confirming the penetrated Lyons Sandstone reservoir to be high-quality and gas saturated.
