Data-centric software provider archTIS Ltd has secured a contract for its Trusted Data Integration (TDI) platform with a Japan-based company, marking its first sale in the region and the first commercialisation of its recently acquired Direktiv technology.
This initial Japanese market entry proves the strategic value of the acquisition, with the annual licence agreement valued at A$390,000.

“It is also our first sale in Japan. The client services a large number of government customers in Japan, and this presents an opportunity to build security solutions to address the rising demand in their markets.
“Japan is an important QUAD member and alliance partner with Australia. Having such a quick win after completing the acquisition of Direktiv’s assets also provides confidence in the opportunity we see in the global market for archTIS’ TDI platform and other data security products.”
The contract is an annual licence agreement for a trial of the TDI platform by a Japanese multinational information technology and electronics corporation.
The client will evaluate TDI’s ability to develop secure data services across regulated sectors, including the Japanese Ministry of Defence. The agreement is cancellable in writing by either party.
TDI integrates archTIS’s attribute-based access control (ABAC) security with Direktiv’s orchestration capabilities, offering a tailored, scalable solution for data integration, governance and security.
It enables zero trust data access, centralised policy orchestration, and compliance reporting through an intuitive policy authoring engine.
